Miller. It is about the families of Elijah Ward. b. 15 March 1803 NC, who married Elizabeth Smith Austin. They came to Indiana about 1833 settling first in Rush/Henry Co and in 1837 to Madison Co. If you live in the Grant Co area, I'm certain the Marion Public Library would have a copy, as it was reprinted some years back by Dr. Ralph Kirkpatrick of Fairmount IN. This is not my family. If you are not in that area and this is of interest to you, contact me at [email protected] Lou in Indiana >> I have a copy the LEWIS FAMILY book mentioned above. I bought it from The Book Mark in Knightstown, IN many years ago but may still be available. My ancestors are listed on pages 52, 53, and 54. It is indexed and I will do lookups in this book if anyone wishes. Best Regards Roy Eastes Gulfport, MS <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< END >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> When we record our heritage we take great pride in looking at our list of ancestors and admire their origins, migrations and accomplishments. But, what good is it - unless it’s true? We need stories and rumors, they are great and often lead to the truth! BUT - Help eliminate errors. Don't take anything as Fact! Check references for validity! If we don’t our children’s children will be led down false trails and they will never be able to find their true heritage.
