George Swain (Swayne) married Christina Bodle in Licking County and by 1830 had removed to Madison County, IN. I need to try to connect with Swain or Bodle researchers. Thanks Robert --part1_ce.38fe1e8.261b726a_boundary--
I also have a Bodle dead-end. Elizabeth Bodle m. William Pittsford on 24 Mar 1822 in Licking County, OH; She died 22 Mar 1877 in Anderson, Madison Co., IN. They had 6 children, all b. on or after 3/24/1824. I only have the birthplace for one--Isabel, b. 28 Jun 1831 in Anderson. Given the similarities, I suspect the two Bodles are related--perhaps sisters. -- Ted ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, April 04, 2000 9:29 AM Subject: [INMADISO-L] Fwd: [OHLICKIN] Swain "Robert Swain" <[email protected]> wrote > I'm trying to locate a Swain family that was around Licking County or surrounding area in the 1820's.
