    1. [INMADISO-L] Jonathan Webbs
    2. Hi Roy, You may have all of this info, but here are a few notes that I made many years ago, and thought I would toss it at you. I discontinued researching the Webb family when I proved that the wife of Jonathan Webb was not a daughter of Nathan Lewis as stated in LFP. Jonathan Webb reputedly the son of the Revolutionary Soldier, Jonathan Webb, buried Decatur Co IN Since I never pursued this, but as early as Jonathan Webb & wife Ruth died, he may have been the Revolutionary soldier?. Jonathan Webb purchased land in Posey Tp. Franklin Co IN, 23 Feb 1814, near the Decatur Co line - W 1/2 SE 1/4 Sec 32 T12N R12E, 80a. By his will probated, 13 Nov 1826, 6:145,146, Franklin Co IN, Jonathan devised this land to his wife, Ruth. Ruth's will probated, 24 Nov 1827, B1:15-17, Ruth devised this land to her son Elijah C Webb who was to maintain his unmarried sister, Nancy, with residual legatees being her children, Abel, Joseph, Ruth and Rachel. Ruth does not mention 10 children, however, 11 Feb 1833, Elijah C Webb and Robert Simpson & wife Nancy, formerly Ruth Webb legal heir of Ruth Webb, each quit-claimed their 1/10 interest to Hugh Brison. Another note I found, Ruth was reputedly the daughter of Elijah Cross of Sullivan Co TN. This is all I have. Lou in Indiana
