Here is the problem I have with my Ward line. I had a ggGrandmother by the name of Florence Emma Alvey. Her parents were Charles and Sara (Ward) Alvey. The lived in Elwood, Indiana. She died 18 months after she had Florence. Charles died in the Civil War and Florence was raised by her Grandparents "The Wards'" from College Corner, Ohio. I have no idea what their first names are. If any of this rings a chime we could be related. I know this is really far out but that is it. Florence was born in 1857.
