Hi Roy, I hate to "rain on your parade". LEWIS FAMILY PIONEERS is a great little book, and for the most part has proved fairly accurate, however, there is an error regarding Jonathan Webb's wife Rachel. She was NOT the daughter of Nathan Lewis. I don't know who she was. It is probable that Jonathan Webb was was a brother to Mary Webb, wife of Nathan Lewis, thus Rachel would be a great aunt to the writer, William G. Lewis, but only because she was married to Jonathan Webb. I haven't really pursued the Webbs. The estate settlement of Nathan Lewis was divided by 1/7's and did not include Jonathan & Rachel Webb. I had corresponded with you previously, but I don't believe you had stated that you were a descendant of Jonathan Webb, or I would have called your attention to this at that time. Sorry. I think Jonathan Webb probably migrated to Virginia from his home in Berks Co PA settling near other members of his family who migrated to Sullivan Co TN (at that time, the back country of NC). Happy Hunting, Lou in Indiana
