Barb, Thank you so much for looking this information up. At this point and time, I am grasping at everything to find my dad's family. Most of whom are dead, I'm afraid. He never met his father's family, save for one uncle, Clinton, whom he met two times, and his father never mentioned their names. I only found out my grandfather and his twin, Clinton, were born in Elwood and my great grandparent's names from Clinton's social security application. I've written to every OHLER in Anderson, Indiana, enclosing a self-addressed, stamped envelope but that was eight months ago and there have been no replies. I'm holding onto this information because even if they don't tie in with my family, they will surely tie in with another Ohler family I will eventually run into.
