The latter d 1814,but his stone house on RT 126 survivies where his mills drew a settlement of ermans,that spread into Goshen and Miami Twnsp's, if not sw Warren Co. Waldschmidt's 1st wife was a Bolender, and his father, Rev Waldschmidt's church records of the Reading, Pa-Lebanon, Pa, Heidleberg, Pa region survive, in print, and perhaps on-line. Wm Penn recruited Germans for his colony of Pa. Counties like Lancaster, Lebanon, and Berks were-are largley German in many neighborhoods. 1729 Pa [?] Pa started keeping ships rosters of in-coming German's, and they are on-line. German churches often kept far better records than English. And many survive, in-part on-line. There is a Brushy Valley in Centre Co,mid Pa where many migrating to Clermont spent a few years. Don't waste much time on that 5-15 years, unless you need something. Penn State U area of mid Pa. German's are more likely found where the land has hills.
