Hello, Listers! I have some additional topics to address. 1. VOLUNTEERS WANTED I am requesting research volunteers in 3 areas at the present time: a) VOLUNTEERS willing to do research in the Indiana Room, Anderson Public Library, Anderson, IN. This would include the birth, marriage, death, burial, obituary, and cemetery records, as well as yearbooks, and of course census, etc. b) VOLUNTEERS willing to search for tombstones in various area cemeteries. c) VOLUNTEERS owning private materials they are willing to research from, such as family histories, histories of Madison County and surrounds, and vital record or census indexes, either in books or on cds owned. At this time, we have some volunteers researching from their own materials for the Website look-up requests; however, I am getting innumerable look-up requests thru the web site for records outside the materials our volunteers have available privately, and this is in addition to the requests being made to this List and to the Query Boards. If you would like to participate, please e-mail me. Tell me what you are willing to do: a) library; b) tombstones; or c) private materials. If you want to share your private materials, I need a list of them with appropriate citations. We will also be wanting to have volunteers help with record transcriptions, etc., at a later time.
