Looking for BROWN, descendants of Lloyd BROWN who came from W Zanesville OH in 1830 with his family, to Knightstown IN in 1840, and finally in Madison Co IN by 1845. I suspect that among his brothers were Elijah BROWN and William BROWN. For a time he owned the mill west of Anderson later known as Moss Island. He died about 1884 and is probably buried at the cemetery on Eighth Street in Edgewood. Known ch were Elias, Anderson, Obadiah, Elijah, Rebecca, Sarah, and Catherine BROWN. Allied families are EVANS, HOUSE, MOSS, ELLIOTT, WAITMAN, JARRETT, MERRICK, all of Madison County. JW Brown
