Hi to some of the east-central Indiana lists. In cleaning out some of my old research files, I ran across an ancestor chart. I recognize some of the surnames that I recall seeing on some of the lists and thought the chart might provide some clues to those researching these surnames. In my opinion, the dates contained in the chart are questionable, as some of these families appear to be Quaker names. If so, the dates shown on the chart are Gregorian dates rather than Quaker dates. Clear? I can provide a few additional details, although I'm not sure of the source and there are a few problems (e.g., Thomas & Sarah appear to have married well after the birth of their child). Some of the dates differ from those in your list: Thomas Beals (b. 1625/1630 in Beal-on-the-Hill, North Durham, England; d. in Pennsylvania) m. 3 Oct 1685 in Edgemont, PA to Sarah Edge (b. Jul 1657 in St. Andrews, Holborn, Middlesex, England; d. 26 Apr 1692 in Chester, Delaware Co., PA). I have info on 5 generation's of Sarah's ancestors (back to about 1545). John Beals (b. Abt 1665 in Rumbaldaweeke, Sussex, England; d. 17 Dec 1726 in Nottingham Twp., Chester Co., PA) m. 11 Jan 1682 in Chester, Delaware Co., PA to Mary Clayton (b. 29 Jun 1665 in Rumbaldaweeke, Sussex, England; d. 1682 in Calvert, Baltimore Co., MD. Mary Beals [d/o John Beals & Mary Clayton] (b. 24 Feb 1692 in Chester Co., PA; d. 1740 in Fredrick, VA) m. 1 Apr 1710 in Concord, Chester Co., PA to Richard Harrold (b. 1680 in England; d. bef 1730 in PA). {Richard's father also was named Richard and was b. in 1664 in England).
