    1. [INMADISO-L] Pettigrew's..
    2. I am looking for information on the Pettigrew's of Rockbridge County, Virginia, that later moved to Madison County in which that is where they died. One of which is Eldon Deroy Pettigrew, buried in Nolt Cemetery in Whitley County. He was born in Indiana, but later moved to California, but returned to Whitley County and that was where he died. I have no information on him other than his birth and death dates. If anyone can give me any help I would be very grateful. Thanks for your time! Best Regards, Brandi

    3. The cemetery was read in 1999. We copied off all information from the TOMBSTONES. There is a section on military information, epitaphs, and a history of the cemetery. It was read by section and row--the index is in Alphabetic order. NO it does not have who bought the graves--the sexton of the cemetery would have this information. Dates are from 1936 until 1999. The cemetery was started in 1936. 2. You caught me just as I was going to sign off of this thing and I decided to do at least part of your request so here is the Personett information. I would double check Daniel's age. The computer program says 55, but I bet it is 25 and John is his father. Also there is a possibility that McConnel is Hannah's mother. 3. Hi Barbara, Oh wow, you came up with allot of information. Thank you so much, I need to recheck files, but I think the John that is first mentioned is Daniel's uncle, a brother to his father Joseph. The McConnell lady is Daniel's mother. There is allot of information here I didn't have. I really appreciate your taking your time to send all of this to me. If there is anything from WA you might need, I'll try to help. I don't have many FTM CD's, as most I've bought tease you into thinking there is something there and there isn't. Thanks again, Myrna

    3. Hi Barbara, I would love to have the information you have regarding my Houchins/Personett's. I think Harvey's brother James was in the area too, and Rebecca's parents, and grandparents were also. Rebecca's parents were Daniel and Hanna Manfort Personett(e) and his father was Joseph. There is also a George that is a brother to Joseph I believe, or maybe his father. It's all kind of vague to me right now. Thanks so much, and looking forward to the info you have to send. Myrna

    3. Hi everyone, I'm new to this list, and I just came across information that my Grandmother, Rosa A. Houchins as she was called in the 1880 Census of Madison Co. Adam's Twp. IN, may of been born there. I have differing information, but would like to know how I could find out more. Rosa, I knew her as Myrtle Rosalee Agnes HOUCHINS, her maiden name, was born July 29, 1879, but I don't know where. Her parents were Rebecca Ann PERSONETT & Harvey Greenly HOUCHINS. They soon moved to Annandale, Wright Co. MN, and that is where I have information she was born, but this doesn't seem possible now that the 1880 Census shows her as 10 months old in IN. If anyone could help me locate where to find further info, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much Myrna Casey from WA

    3. Does anyone know anything about the Osceola school near Lilly Creek or the Lilly Creek christian Church? My g.grandfather, George Hampton Mohler, attended the Osceola school (and probably his two brothers, William Arthur and Warren S. Mohler) and went on to become a well-loved professor at Fremont Normal School -- now Midland Lutheran College -- in Fremont, NE. I also have reason to believe that he and his family attended the Christian church in either Lilly Creek or Vinson. Are there any records available for either of these churches or schools in the area? Any help greatly appreciated. Pam in Oregon
