    3. William, I had a friend check the cemetery records for Madison County. Here is his reply: These are the listings of PARKER'S that he has for Richland Twp. None of these cemeteries are close to Moonsville, IN. If Dollie died in or around 1840 there is probably no records, other than tombstone readings. There were so many fires prior to 1900 that almost all records were burned. The method of keeping them was very poor: in sheds, old barns etc. Don't know if this will help or not. 3. Linda, Thank you for looking up Dollie Langley Parker in the Moonsville Cemetery for me. For my further information, were there any burial records for anyone in the cemetery for the 1840's or even earlier, or was the cemetery developed at a later date? Would you know of any other cemeteries in the Richland Township where Dollie might be buried? I am assuming, since her husband Archibald lived in the Richland Township and had property there, that she probably died there. Would there be an index, for the whole of Madison County, of deaths and burial places for the 1840's? 3. Dollie (also spelled Dolly) Langley Parker is reportedly buried in the Moonsville Cemetery in the Richland Township. Dollie was born about 1810 in North Carolina, one of the children of Jonathan Langley and Hannah Smith. About 1830/32 Dollie married Archibald Parker, born about 1794 in North Carolina, some place in Indiana where her family was living. Dollie and Archibald had four children: Eleanor, Ira R., Jonathan, and Milton Parker. The last three children have been documented as being born in Delaware County, with the probability of the first born also being born in Delaware County. Sometime after 1840 the family moved to Madison County where Dollie died. Archibald, in the 1850 census for Madison, had remarried to Keziah (also spelled Kissiah) Sutton. Are there any references for those individuals buried in the Moonsville Cemetery? If so, is Dollie listed and what would be the date of her death? I have been unable to find a marriage record on the internet (Indiana State Library) for the marriages of Archibald to Dollie Langley or Kiziah Sutton. I understand that a handful of counties are not included in the above database. Would there be any other reference sources for me to check out. I live in a rural area in the farm belt of central California, My resources are limited except by ordering materials through the Family History Center. Thank you.
