HERALD-TELEPHONE BLOOMINGTON INDIANA NOVEMBER 1984 Gurdy McKinney Gurdy F. McKinney, 94, of Bloomington died early Sunday (Nov 4) at the Bloomington Convalescent Center. Born April 5, 1890 in Lawrence County she was the daughter of Dawson and Clara Jane (Combs) Clark. She retired in 1955 from RCA Consumer Electronics Inc. She was a member of the Hickory Grove Church in Lawrence County. Survivors include one daughter Lorena Gavin Purcell of Bloomington; one sons William P McKinney of Bloomington; one sister Edith Clark of Bloomington; three grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Day Mortuary in Bloomington with the Rev. Glen Bogue officiating. Burial will be in Gilgal Cemetery. Friends may call 3-9 p.m. today at the mortuary.
