    3. TIMES MAIL BEDFORD INDIANA WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5, 1973 Perry East, 63, 618 F Street, died at 4:10 p.m. yesterday at the Bedford Medical Center. He had been ill for several years. Mr. East, a former resident of Norman, was a native of Lawrence County. He was born June 6, 1910, to Thomas and Lottie Terrell East. He was a retired stone worker and carpenter. He was first married to Derotha Glassgo, and secondly to Adaline Eker East, who survives. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include their daughter, Mrs. Lora Lynn Goins and son, Perry Thomas East, both of Bedford; three daughters by his first marriage, Mrs. Robert (Mary Lou) Hillenburg of Heltonville and Mrs. Bill (Betty) Short and Mrs. Elmer (Geneive) Steward, both of Ohio; two stepchildren, Richard Dale Duncan and Mrs. Malcolm (Frankie) Hilderbrand; two sisters, Mrs. Izolla Todd and Nettle Stancomb, both of R. 1, Norman; one brother, Ira East, R 1 Norman; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Carol; a sister, Salty Todd and four half- brothers, Claude, Clone, Berle and Elza; and two grand sons. Mr. East was a member of the Henderson Creek Baptist Church and the D.A.V., Cladie Bailey Chapter. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Jones Funeral Home in Heltonville, with Rev. James Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral borne after 12 noon Thursday.
