DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA APRIL 10, 1944 WILLIAM F. WOOD CALLED BY DEATH William F. Wood, 75, retired Bedford grocer, died at 1:05 o'clock this morning at Dunn Memorial Hospital where he was admitted Sunday. He had been in failing health for past seven years. The body was prepared for burial at the Sherwood & Ferguson funeral home and will lie in state there after 10:00 o'clock Tuesday forenoon. Funeral services will be conducted from the Sherwood & Ferguson chapel at 10:00 o'clock Wednesday forenoon and burial will follow in Green Hill cemetery. He was a native of Kentucky and was born September 3, 1868. He married Angie Lina Coyle at Berea fifty years ago. She preceded him in death in July 1934. He is survived by three sons, Roy C. Wood, Evansville; Clyde W. Wood, resident of the state of Florida, and Maurice C. Wood, Bedford; three grandchildren and a niece, Mrs. Claude Sageser, of Lexington, Ky. Mr. Wood was a member of the Berea, Ky., Presbyterian Church and belonged to the Leesville Masonic Lodge.
