LINDSEY PASSES Mrs. Ellany Eliza Lindsey, 85, widow of the late Joe Lindsey, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at her home, 428 North Eighth street, in Mitchell, following an illness of several weeks. The remains were prepared for burial at the Clements Funeral Home and will lie in state there until the funeral, arranged for 2:30 p.m, (DST) Tuesday at the Clements Chapel, with the Rev. Leland Flew, pastor of the Mitchell First Christian Church, of which she was a member, officiating. Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery. The daughter of Lorenzo and Hanna Bass Ostrander the deceased was born in Rolla, Missouri, June 17, 1862. Her marriage with Joe Lindsey occurred more than 50 years ago. Survivors are a daughter, Miss Josephine Lindsey, and a grand daughter, Miss Ida Francis, both at home. Several children have preceded her in death.
