DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA December 9, 1959 Garofola Rites Set Mary Theresa Garofola, 230 Indiana Avenue, Oolitic, passed away at 5:08 pm. Tuesday at the Dunn Memorial Hospital, where she had entered the same day. She had been in failing health for 14 years. Mrs. Garofola was born in Italy in 1900 and married Joseph Garofola who preceded her in death on January 17, 1946. She was a member of the St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Bedford. Surviving relatives include three sons - Frank and Joseph Garofola both of Bedford and Tony Garofola of Oolitic; two daughters - Mrs. Robert Mosier of Bedford and Mrs. Fannie White of Brookville, Indiana; one sister Fannie in Italy and eight grandchildren. Two daughters and one son preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Vincent dePaul Church with Rev. Lawrence Weinzapfel, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
