BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 1909 PIONEER DEAD Joseph Sherrill, Prominent Farmer Near Vinegar Hill, Answered Last Summons Tuesday Afternoon FUNERAL THURSDAY 1:30 AT TRINITY Joseph Sherrill, a prominent resident of Lawrence county, died at his home near the Vinegar Hill school house, Tuesday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock. He had been in poor health for over two years and had for the last two months been confined to his bed. His condition for some time past had been such that death was momentarily expected. His death was due to liver and stomach trouble. He was 67 years of age and was born and reared on the farm where he died, having resided there his entire life time. One son and one daughter survive: Walter Sherrill, of this city, and Mrs. W. L. Sherrill, east of the city. The funeral services will be in charge of the Masonic order and will be conducted by Elder J. W. Newland from the Trinity church Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial will be at Crawford graveyard at 3:30 p.m.
