    3. DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA SATURDAY, February 3, 1934 COOPER RITES OCCUR SUNDAY Monon Section Hand Dropped From Heart Attack While At Work Late Friday Funeral services for Lawrence D. Cooper , 58 years old, Monon section hand residing tin a farm about a mile north of Georgia in Marion township, who dropped dead at 2:45 o'clock Friday afternoon while at work on the Monon railroad track about a mile and a half north of Mitchell from a hear(t) attack, will he held at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene in charge of Rev. C. L. Thornburg, with burial in the Mitchell cemetery. The body was removed to the Haverly mortuary in Mitchell for burial preparation following death and this afternoon will be taken to the home to remain over night and will be returned to the Haverly mortuary Sunday forenoon and lie in state there until the funeral hour. Coroner O, D. Emerson, after an investigation, rendered a verdict that acute myocarditis had caused death. Mr. Cooper was a member of Odd Fellow's Lodge No. 212 in Mitchell. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Rosa Lee Cooper, nine children and three? brothers, George and Ira Cooper ,Marion township, Jasper Cooper, Lafayette and Clarence Cooper , Indianapolis. He had been in the employe of the Monon railroad company for the past twenty- five years.
