BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, July 21, 1899 John A. Clark who was killed in the Indian Springs Tunnel Tuesday was a son of Lloyd Clark, a wealthy citizen of Daviess County, living at Montgomery, was serving as a member of the County Board of Review when informed of his son's injury. Yong Clark was about 26 years of age, was well educated and a devout member of the Catholic Church. He had been working on the Southern Indiana as brakeman about two months, and was much liked by the other railroad men, all of whom speak of him as a fine fellow. The body was shipped to Montgomery Tuesday evening for burial.
