DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 1953 Fred Yeskie Dies At Noon Fred H. Yeskie, 1103 Lincoln avenue, 53-year-old Fabricast employee, died shortly before noon today at the Dunn Memorial Hospital. He had been ill since August. Mr. Yeskie, who was unmarried, was a native of Oolitic and was born August 3, 1900 to Fred and Amelia Yeskie. A graduate of Oolitic High Schoo1in 1921, he was an excellent athlete and for four years was a member of the varsity basketball team there. He served in the Army during World War II and was at the Aberdeen, Proving Ground. A member of the Gillen Post, American Legion, he also belonged to the Redmen Lodge, Tribe 281. Mr. Yeskie attended the Methodist Church and the Church of God, of Bedford. Surviving are three brothers, Louie W. Yeskie and Charles Yeskie, both of Oolitic, and Henry Yeskie of Bedford; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral arrangements are incomplete but the Day & Carter Mortuary will announce the time of the service tomorrow. Interment will be in the Green Hill Cemetery.
