BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, AUG. 24, 1900 RAILROAD RACKET F. Taylor SMAWLEY, who had been the agent for the S. I. at Westport for several years, died at his home in that city last Saturday evening, after a long illness. Mr. SMAWLEY had been in poor health for many years, and his death had been expected for several weeks. He was a faithful employee, and had worked for several of the large railroads. He leaves a wife and many relatives. The funeral occurred at Westport this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Many railroaders, mostly employees of the S. I. and the Big 4 Rys. were in attendance.
