DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, MAY 16, 1945 DEATH COMES TO NATHANIEL EAST Nathaniel (Nat) East, 66, blacksmith, died at his home in Harrodsburg at 8:00 o'clock Tuesday morning after a year's illness with heart disease. The body was removed to the Leston Jones funeral home at Heltonville for burial preparation. Funeral services will be conducted from the Heltonville Baptist Church at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. A native of Lawrence county, Mr. East was born to George and Elizabeth Faubion East on February 10, 1879. He married Mellie McCammon in 1900, who survives Other survivors are a son, Coleman of Harrodsburg; five brothers, James, J. C. and Homer East all of Heltonville; Everett East, Bloomington, and William East, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Alpha Lively, Louisville, Ky., and three grandchildren. He was a member of the Heltonville Baptist Church.
