DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD INDIANA MONDAY, JANUARY 15, 1979 Lola May McDaniel, 88, Bloomington, died at 1 am. Sunday at the Four Seasons Retirement Home in Columbus. She was born Sept. 22, 1890, in Greene County, to Grant and Mary Jane Michael Arthur. She was a member of the McDoel Baptist Church and was retired from the I.U. Memorial Union. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Audrey) St. Laurent, Indianapolis; Mrs. John (Opal) Thompson, Worthington, and Mrs. Wayne (Pearl) Cazee, Bloomington; one son, Arthur McDaniel, Bedford; one sister, Hetta Watkins, Solsberry; 14 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah, in 1959, and later by a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Tribby, and a brother, Howard Arthur. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Day Mortuary in Bloomington with Rev. Stewart Brightwell officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the mortuary until 9 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service tomorrow.
