TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, JULY 25, 1951 (Page 10) George Fleetwood, 76, Dies At Home George Fleetwood, 1505 Sixth street, died St 8:40 a.m. today at Dunn Memorial Hospital where he entered Monday. He had been ill for one year. The 78-year-old man was born to James and Mariah Combs Fleetwood and was united in marriage with Miss Ella Bagwell. She preceded him in death on June 22, 1947. Survivors include three sons, James Lester Fleetwood, at home; Cecil Fleetwood, Heltonville road and Gerald Fleetwood of French Lick; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Hedrick of Rockton, Ill., Mrs. Fannie Henry of Columbus, Ind., and Mrs. Sarah White of Heltonville; three brothers, Riley Fleetwood of Newman, Ill., John Fleetwood of Kansas City, Kans. and Henry Fleetwood of Bedford; and one grandchild. Rev. Melvin Miller of the Church of God, where Mr. Fleetwood attended, will conduct the funeral service Friday at 2 p.m. It will be in the Elmwood Chapel of Day and Carter Mortuary. The body will lie in state at the Mortuary after 9 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memorial Park.
