    3. DAILY TIMES BEDFORD INDIANA MONDAY, AUGUST 27, 1934 DEATH CLAIMS MARY HELTON Funeral Services Tuesday 1:30 P.M. From Bedford Free Methodist Church Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Helton, widow of Arnold Helton, who Passed away Saturday night at 7:15 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Homer Bates, 637 W street after a years illness with heart complications, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Bedford Free Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Breckenridge cemetery. Following death the remains were removed to the Roach Funeral home for burial preparations and returned to her daughter's home Sunday morning to lie in state until the funeral hour. Mrs. Helton was born at Bartlettsville on March 22, 1871, to George and Catherine Deckard Covey and at the time of her death was 64 years, 5 months and 3 days old. She was married about forty-seven years ago. Thirteen Children were born to this union, seven of whom have preceded their mother to the grave. She was a member of the Bedford Free Methodist Church. Besides the daughter, she is survived by three Sons, Otto Helton, 617 W street, Dewey Helton, V street, Alfred Helton, Memphis, Florida ; two other daughters, Mrs. Frank Herrin, Washington, Ind., Mrs. Stella Cassaday, Cincinnati, Ohio eleven grandchildren, one adopted grandson; four great grandchildren; two brothers Perry Covey, Oolitic; and Oscar Covey, Bartlettsville; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Bartlett and Mrs. Sarah Kinser, both of Bartlettsville.
