BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, AUGUST 11, 1899 Mrs. Mary Dixon died Monday July 31st after an illness of seven weeks in which she suffered intensely. The funeral took place at the chapel on August 1st. Services were conducted by Eld. Elisha Lee and burial at the Proctor Graveyard. FRIDAY, AUGUST 4, 1899 Mrs. Martha Dixon of Ft. Ritner died Monday aged about 80 years. She was a sister of W. A. Holland. Mrs. Thornt Zollman and Mrs. George D. Gowen have gone to Ft. Ritner to attend the funeral of their aunt Mrs. Martha Dixon (Mary Dixon: Nov 17, 1833 - Jul 31, 1899 married Martin Dixon Dec. 1, 1852)
