Interment at Ikerd graveyard. BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 1899 Obituary The angel of Death has again visited our neighborhood and knocked at the door of our neighbor and carried away on its wings the spirit of Nora, the daughter of Carter and Hester Bridwell. Nora was born Sept. 1st, 1882, died Sept. 12, 1899 being 17 years and 11 days old. Nora was only confined to her bed nine days with malarial fever and heart trouble. she bore her suffering without a murmur or complaint. She leaves a father, mother, three sisters, five brothers and a host of friends and schoolmates to mourn and grieve for her, but sorrowing not as those who have no hope. NOTE: Nora and her father are buried at Green Hill Cemetery according to "Alphabetical Index of People Buried In Lawrence County Cemeteries" by Karen Baldwin
