BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, FEB. 1, 1901 Henry Davis died at his home in Bloomington Tuesday at 4 o'clock, of inflammation of the bowels. He was a son of Gus C. Davis, the hardware merchant of that city, and was well known to the young people of this city. ************* Mrs. J. W. Mitchell, Mrs. Carrie Priest and Mrs. J. W. Owen went to Bloomington Tuesday in answer to a telegram announcing the death of Henry Davis, who was a relative. ******** M. N. Messick, John W. Owen, Polk Campbell, Henry Martin, Joe Campbell, Frank Hamer and wife, W. A. Webb and wife, Mrs. C. M. Lemon, Mrs. H. M. Voris, Mrs. C. A. Burton, Misses Bessie Mitchell, May and Lizzie Martin went to Bloomington Thursday to attend the funeral of Henry Davis, who died Monday morning. ****** Mrs. W. H. Heckman, Mrs. Harry Gainey and Miss Lelia Messick went to Bloomington Wednesday to attend the funeral of Henry Davis, which took place Thursday.
