BEDFORD DAILY TIMES BEDFORD, INDIANA MONDAY, MARCH 12, 1934 DEATH COMES TO EMMA ADAMSON Funeral Services Tuesday Forenoon From Bedford Church of Christ Mrs. Emma E. Adamson who has been ill since last September 1 when she fell at her home in Springville and suffered a fractured hip, passed away at 8:40 o'clock Sunday night at the home of her son Bert Adamson, 527 V street. Following death the remains were removed to the Day & Carter funeral home for burial preparation and were returned to the home of her son this morning to remain until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday forenoon at 10 o'clock from the Bedford Church of Christ with the Rev. R. N. Raines officiating. Burial will be made in the Springville Christian Church Cemetery. The deceased was born in July 26, 1859 in Springville to Owen and Mary Lancaster Short and at the time of her death was 74 years, 7 months and 15 days old. She was married on April 7 1881 to Sentney Adamson who succumbed December 9, 1910. Mrs. Adamson was a member of the Bedford Church of Christ. Besides Bert Adamson she is survived by another son, Elbert Adamson, Bloomington; one daughter, Miss Mamie Adamson of Madison; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
