BEDFORD DAILY TIMES BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 1931 DEATH COMES TO JOHN W. DUNCAN Resident Near Armstrong Station Dies Following Nine Hours Illness John W. Duncan of near Armstrong Station, passed away at seven o'clock Monday night after a short illness. He took sick at ten o'clock in the morning and gradually failed until the end. He was born in Wayne County, Kentucky to Perry and Frances Duncan and at his passing was 64 years and 7 months of age. He is survived by the widow, one daughter, two brothers, Eke and James Duncan, three sisters, Mrs. Betty Coyle, Mrs. Vie Turpin and Mrs. Nannie Perkins. The funeral will take place at the Springville Christian Church Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
