DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, DEC. 8, 1961 H. HACKLER RITES SET Herman Hackler, 50, of Terre Haute and former Bedford resident, passed away Wednesday at his home. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Hackler was born May 22, 1911 at Fayetteville, the son of Daniel and Lola Couthers Hackler. Survivors include the wife, Margaret; one son, Kenneth, at home; one sister, Mrs. William Baker of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Southern Baptist Church of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Frank M. - Patrick J. Ryan Funeral Home, 602 South Seventh street in Terre Haute. The Rev. Merla Craig will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Terre Haute.
