BEDFORD MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 1901 Washington, Ind., April 1. – Frank Corning, a well-known young blacksmith, was killed this morning while shoeing a horse. The animal kicked Corning on the left temple, fracturing his skull and breaking his neck. He was 22 years old.
