BEDFORD MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, MAY 3, 1901 Washington, Ind., April 29. – Earl R. Sutton, painter, of Dayton, O., was instantly killed last night at the relay depot of the Baltimore & Ohio Southwestern railway. He was riding between a box car and a flat car loaded with steel rails, and the sudden stopping of the train caused the steel rails to be pushed forward, crushing him. He was about 24 years old.
