DAILY TIMES MAIL, BEDFORD, INDIANA MONDAY, JULY 7, 1958 Ida White Dies At 84 Mrs. Ida Mae White, 84, wife of James W. White, 403 N street, died at 11:05 a.m. this morning at the residence following a two week illness. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Chapel, Day and Carter Mortuary with Brother William J. Whaley and Brother Harold Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Church of Christ Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Day and Carter Mortuary and friends may call after noon Tuesday. She was the daughter of Moses and Lucretia (McClung) Roberts and was born June 29, 1874. She was first married to Claude Humberger, now deceased. She married Mr. White June 5, 1948. Besides the husband she is survived by a stepson, Paul White and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Edith Kern, both of Bedford; two step-grandchildren, Richard White of Shelbyville, and Mrs. P. G. Lewis of Mitchell. Also surviving are five step great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Bex of Williams and Mrs. Edna Wilking of Shoals; three nephews, Wilmer Bex, Wayne Wilkins and Dale Roberts, three nieces, Wanda Ehuhart, Catherine Kern and Virginia Stewart. She was a member of the Bedford Church of Christ.
