TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 1985 Pernelia Mae Franklin, 82, formerly of Shoals, died Friday morning at her winter home in Cottenwood, Ariz. She was born April 22, 1903, in Shoals to William and Burscilla Armstrong Poindexter. She married George W. Franklin and he preceded her in death. She retired from Whirlpool Division of Sears as line supervisor. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marjorie) Warren, Cottenwood, Ariz., Mrs. Robert (Georgia Mae) Kalbas, Naperville, Ill.; one son Carl Dean Franklin, Algonguin, Ill.: seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals, the Rev. Ruth Starr officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Shoals. Friends may call at the home after 4 p.m. Monday.
