DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, 1935 DEATH CLAIMS KEATHA HERT Springville Resident Succumbed Friday Night At Home-Funeral Rites Sunday Keatha Cox Hert, widow of the late William Lowrey Hert, died Friday night at 11:45 o'clock at her home in Springville following an illness since last November 28 when she suffered a stroke of paralysis. She has been bedfast since September 15. Following death the body was removed to the Roach Funeral home for burial preparation and this afternoon was returned to her home to remain until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Springville Christian Church with the Rev. Logan Hatfield, of Owensburg, officiating. Burial will be made in the Springville Christian Church cemetery. The deceased was a native of Martin county, born on April 13, 1861, to Boone and Mary June McDermed Cox and at the time of her death was 74 years, 5 months and 21 days old. She was married on April 20, 1902, at her home in Martin County to Mr. Hert, who died July 20, 1922. Mrs. Hert is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Louis Wilking, of Williams, and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Fortner, of Mitchell one brother, Lincoln Cox, York, Nebraska two step-daughters, Miss May Hert, who made her home with her step-mother and cared for her during her illness and Miss Maude Hert, Venice California
