TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 1985 Lydia L. Martindale, 89, 1306 K St., Bedford (Hauck House), formerly of R. 1, Springville (Popcorn Community), died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Bedford Medical Center following an automobile accident on U.S. 50 East, Friday night. She was born Dec. 28,1895, in Honey County, Texas, to William Thomas and Josephine McTarsney Plake. She married Daniel Cameron Martindale Feb 15, 1922, and he died Sept. 11, 1960. She was a member of Hillcrest Christian Church and the Daughters of Civil War Veterans of Indianapolis. Survivors Include two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Sears, Bedford (Hauck House), and Mrs. Bessie Thompson, Indianapolis. two brothers. Forrest Earl Plake, Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown, and Floyd Plake, R. 16, Bedford. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Christian Church. the Rev. Phillip Curry officiating. Burial will be in Springville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call at the Day & Carter Mortuary until 9 p.m. today and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
