TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 1970 Jessie Pearl Sweeney, 85, Route 2, Campbellsburg, died Sunday at 11 p.m. at the Williams Convalescent Center in Salem. She was born December 4, 1884 in Washington County, the daughter of Hugh and Gilli Ann Smedley Hughes. Mrs. Sweeney was a member of the Mt. Tabor Christian Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Tabor Christian Curch with the church pastor the Rev. George Forbes, officiating, along with Jack Dennis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors are four nieces Violet Nicholson, and Mrs. Fern Chastain both of Bedford, Mrs. Pansy Nicholson, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Lillie Belle Carola, Detroit: and two nephews, Clondike Hamilton and Hugh Hamilton, of Campbellsburg.
