TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 1987 BLOOMFIELD-Funeral services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield for Virginia Sherrard, 55, of R. 5, Bloomfield. She died at noon Monday in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis of injuries sustained Friday in a one car accident on Ind. 157 between Bloomfield and Worthington. She was born Aug. 24, 1932, in White Hall to Gilbert and Ruth Vest Titus. She was co-owner of Spot Lounge in Bloomfield and a member of Bloomfield American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving with the husband, Clarence "Giggs" Sherrard Jr., are three daughters, Rhonda Mitchell, Tucson, Ariz. Melinda Rutherford, St. Paul, and Karen Danner, R 2 Linton; one stepson, Roger Sherrard, Bloomfield; three sisters, Barbara McKean, Bloomfield, Betty Leinart, Bloomfield and Nancy Campbell, Sanborn; the mother, Ruth Hamilton, Bloomfield; the stepfather; of Bloomfield, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Mitchell, one stepson, Randy Sherrard and her father. Rev. John E. Catchem will officiate and burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, in Bloomfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. Thursday until the service time.
