BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, APRIL 25, 1902 Death Of Mrs. John Torphy. Mrs. John Torphy, wife of the Superintendent of the P. M. B. quarry, died Tuesday at 5:15 a.m., after an illness of some time. She was a sister of the late John Johnson, Jr., F. X. Johnson, and the Misses Johnson, and was a most estimable woman. Two sons and two daughters are left, with the husband, to mourn an irreparable loss. The funeral took place Thursday forenoon at 9 o'clock, from the Catholic church. Services by Rev. Father Bogemann.
