BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 1902 William G. Henderson, a pioneer citizen of the Guthrie Creek neighborhood, had a paralytic stroke Thursday forenoon, and died next morning. He would have been 86 years old the 15th of May. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial at Henderson graveyard. ******* PINHOOK William Henderson an old and respected citizen of this community died Thursday night of paralysis brought on by old age. Mr. Henderson was once wealthy and was a farmer, trader and miller but adversity came and he was reduced to hard labor and finally when he was no longer able to work the township cared for him. He always had the name of being an honest man. Uncle Billy as he was called was 86 or 87 years old and was known by almost everyone.
