BEDFORD DAILY TIMES BEDFORD, INDIANA DECEMBER 21, 1934 MENINGITIS IS DEATH CAUSE Funeral Services For Herschell Clyde Hinkle Saturday From Free Methodist Church Herschel Clyde Hinkle, six year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Hinkle, residing a half mile south west of Heltonville, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning at his home after a six weeks illness with meningitis. Following death the remains were removed to the Leston Jones funeral home at Heltonville for burial preparation and this afternoon were returned to the home to remain until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Bedford Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph C. Black, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in the Beech Grove cemetery The child was born near Heltonville on May 2, 1928, to Homer and Daisy Hinkle. Besides the parents, he is survived by three brothers, Lousi, Clinton, and Kenneth; four sisters, Ruth, Mary and Betty all at home, and Mrs. Wayne Faubion, of English; and the paternal and maternal grandmothers
