TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15, 1979 Robert Eugene Bell, 51, of 587 N. Roosevelt St., Orleans, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at English. He was born Feb. 14, 1928, In Orleans, to James and Lola Hawk Bell. on June 1, 1968, he married Betty Smith, who survives. He was employed for 28 years with Orleans Oil Co. Also surviving are the mother, of Orleans; three stepsons, Richard Earl Whitlow, Rensselaer; William Whitlow, Peoria, Ill.; and James David Whitlow, Marco; one step daughter, Catherine Mary Roberts, Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, James Bell, Orleans; and three sisters; Mrs. Josie Lenhart, Buena Park, Calif.; Mrs. Robert (Mary Alice) Martin, Bloomington, and Mrs. Don (Shirley) Bishop, Orleans. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ochs Funeral Home, Orleans, with the Rev. Richard Kern officiating. Burial will follow In Fairview Cemetery.
