    3. TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA DIED: OCT. 19, 1961 Mrs. Myrtle Nancy Bryant, 51-year-old resident of 16 Oolitic Road, died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday at her home. She had been in failing health for three months. Mrs. Bryant was born April 20, 1910 on Monroe County, the daughter of Ben and Mary Covey Southerland. She was first married to William Richard Long; her second marriage was Amon Bryant in 1934, who survives. Other survivors include, the mother of Bedford; three children by the first marriage; Violet May Ballard of Indianapolis, Annabelle Sykes of Lawrence County and Wilbur Dale Long with the U.S. Navy; two children by the second marriage, Harry Bryant, Oolitic, and Janet Roberts of Lafayette; a sister-in-law, Adele Southerland of Wilmington, Calif., 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Franklin Southerland of Calif., and Benny Southerland of Columbus and three sisters, Goldie Evans of Smithville and Estie and Lois Jones of Indianapolis. She was a member of the Oolitic Pentecostal Church. Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Oolitic Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Henry Skinner and the Rev. Elmer Patton officiating. Burial will be in the Hilltop Cemetery under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Friends may call at the Day & Carter Mortuary after 7 p.m today. *************************** MYRTLE N. BRYANT RITES CONDUCTED Last rites for Mrs. Myrtle Nancy Bryant, 16 Oolitic Road, who died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Oolitic Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Henry Skinner and the Rev. Elmer Patton officiating. "I've Got A Mansion," "Every Hour and Every Day," "I Will Meet You In The Morning" were sung by Glenn Butler, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Flynn and Mrs. Louise Turner. They were accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Glenn Butler. Flowers were in charge of Margaret Riggs, Sally Drehobl, Nancy Kindred, Judy Bartlett, Brenda Sargent, Brenda Cracraft, Dana Southerland, Freda Moler, Margie Honeycutt, Cheryl Ann Ballard, Janie Rutherford, Janice Brown and Sharron Dalton. Pall-bearers were Lowell Roberts, Arthur Skyes, Mel Ballard, Benny Darrel Southerland, John Rice and Harold Lloyd Evans. The services were largely attended. Burial was in the Hilltop Cemetery under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
