TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20, 1983 Lillian B. Stroman, 89, 430 Sycamore Dr., died at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday at the Bedford Medical Center. She had been ill several years. She was born in Blanden, North Carolina, Oct. 28, 1893, to Andrew F. and Sarah Benson Burney. She first married Homer Hester on June 18, 1918, and he preceded her in death Nov. 11, 1933. She next married Clarence C. Stroman Dec. 1, 1958, and he died in Feb., 1966. She was a retired beautician, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Orangeburg, S. C.; Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR); United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC), and Colonial Dames XVII Century Society. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Loren (Sarah) Joseph, Bed ford; two granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister. funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Carter Funeral Home an Clarkton, N. C., with burial in Clarkton. Friends may call at the Carter Funeral Home in Clarkton, N. C., from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Local arrangements were by the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
