DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, DECEMBER 29, 1959 M. ARCHER SUCCUMBS Martin H. Archer, 76, died at 4:50 A.M. yesterday at his residence on Orleans R. R. 3. Mr. Archer who had been a farmer and had worked in a stone quarry most of his life was born June 7, 1883 in Martin County, Indiana, the son of John and Jane Holt Archer. He married Bervia May Miller in 1905. Survivors include the wife, five sons: William F. of Paoli, John of New Orleans, La., Andrew of Hamilton, Ohio, Grover of Birds, Ill., and Bert of Marion, Indiana; and three daughters: Mrs. Edith Ennis and Lucille Trisler of Martinsville and Geneva Bocock of Mooresville, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Haverly Mortuary in Mitchell with Rev. Ivan Steed of Orange County officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Creek Cemetery in Orange County. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edith Ennis, Martinsville; Geneva Bocock, Mooresville; and Lucille Trisler, Martinsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Haverly Mortuary, with burial in Clear Creek Cemetery in Orange County. The body will lie in state at Haverly Mortuary until the funeral hour.
