DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 1956 Conducts Hovey Lyons Rites Funeral services for Hovey Dee Lyons, 2018 Thirteenth street, who died Friday at 11:15 p.m., were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. W. Emerson Chapman, pastor of the church. Officiating. Catherine Nowland played the piano as she and Dorothy Owen sang "Your Roses May Have Thorns."., "I Won't Have To Cross Jordan Alone", and "Precious Lord, Take My Hand." In charge of flowers were Eva Mae Robbins, Gleathal Thompson, Darlene Marsh, Patty Ramey, Myrtle Robbins, Grace Howell, Marilea Britt, Martha Fields, Clida Frank, Ruth Ramey, Margaret Scheffel, and Lois Chapman. Pallbearers at the service were Arthur Reynolds, Carl Scheffel, Leathel Robbins, Harry Fields, Blish Todd, and Manuel Schoffstall. Burial was in Beech Grove Cemetery under the direction of Sherwood - Ferguson & Speer Funeral Home.
