TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, SEPT. 4, 1979 EDNA JANE HEARTH Edna Jane Hearth, 79, of R. 17 Bedford, died at 9:25 p.m. Monday at her home. She was born April 17, 1900, the daughter of Hezekiah and Mary Alice Hillenburg Axsom. She married Johnie Hearth Sept. 12, 1919. He died in 1966. Surviving are three sons, Francis of Columbus, Chester of Bedford, and Clovis of Heltonville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Hezzie Axsom of Indianapolis, Ora and Earl Axsom of Columbus, Eathel Axsom of Norman; three sisters, Delistia Terrell and Cordelia Hedrick of Columbus, and Delight Hanner of Kurtz. Three sisters, two brothers and a grandson preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Jones Funeral Home in Heltonville with Rev. Don Paden officiating. Burial will be in the Mundell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
