TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA MAY 20, 1983 Grace Banks, 77, R. 2, Springville, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bedford Medical Center, where she entered May 15. She had been ill since November. She was born in Lawrence county Nov. 25, 1905, to Harry and Phoebe Jones Taylor. She married Frank Banks on Dec. 29, 1951 and he survives. She was of Pentecost faith. Surviving with the husband are seven sons, Mack Banks, R. 12, Bedford, Richard and Franklin Banks, both of Springville, James Banks. Bedford, John Banks, R. 14, Bedford, Chet Banks, Bedford, and Roger Banks, Washington, Ind.; one daughter, Wanda Moore, Bloomington; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one brother, Ocie Taylor, R. 12, Bedford. She was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Elmwood chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary, the Rev. Chester Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Springville Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
